$301-$424 — San Jose & Liberia, Costa Rica from Cities Nationwide (R/T, w/Tax)

Today the deal experts at Fly.com have found that fares to San Jose and Liberia, Costa Rica, for travel in the fall season has dropped by as much as $250-$600 off typical roundtrip prices for this time frame.

This is during the tail end of Costa Rica’s low, rainy season, which goes from May to November. However, don’t let the term “rainy season” (or “green season” as this time period is know in the travel industry because the burst of foliage and plant life right after the rain) dissuade you from visiting, because the weather is not as bad as you might think. Sure, you might get a little wet, it generally doesn’t rain continuously for several days. And the weather will still be great, as the average high between August and November ranges between the mid- to high-70s. Plus, the biggest incentive would be that prices are a lot cheaper (hotel prices are typically about half off the peak season rates) and attractions will be a lot less crowded.
