Extreme low temperatures have set in across the northeast, along with low pricing to top cities like New York. With airlines launching several domestic sales, it’s a great time to book a flight to the Big Apple. Sales generally come with a 7 to 14 day advance purchase requirement, so don’t worry, by the time you are in town, the frigid temperatures will hopefully have returned to normal or you can book a trip in advance for spring travel.

Cheap Flights to New York City

Manhattan in the winter offers some great options, like the skating rink at Rockefeller Center, performances at Lincoln Center (pictured above), Broadway Shows and much more.

Another great reason to visit is Restaurant Week, which is Jan. 14 – Feb. 8. During this time, some of New York’s best restaurants offer discounted 3-course lunches for $25 and dinners for $38. Restaurants include Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill, several Jean Georges restaurants and even Morimoto.
