Fly.com Launches New Blog
Travel Tips and Stories Designed to Provide Additional Value to Fly.com Users
NEW YORK, March 13, 2012 --Fly.com™, the world’s easiest-to-use airfare search engine, today announced the public launch of the Fly.com blog. The new blog, which is housed on the Fly.com website (www.fly.com/blog), is designed to provide Fly.com users with valuable travel information that will help them make informed decisions as they plan future trips.
Each day, the blog will leverage the expertise of the Fly.com staff, as well as respected guest bloggers, to publish new content relating to travel news, tips, destination profiles and hot flight deals.
“We are incredibly excited and proud of our new blog offering,” said Warren Chang, vice president and general manager, Fly.com. “Here at Fly.com we live and breathe travel. We are not only experts at finding Fly.com users the best online airfare deals, but we are also travel enthusiasts in our own right. This blog offers a great platform to bring people along for the ride and, hopefully, inspire a trip or two.”
The Fly.com blog debuted on March 1 to select users, and has since received numerous pick-ups from travel and social media sites.
“User testing and feedback is overwhelmingly positive,” said Ralph du Plessis, product development director, Fly.com. “It is clear that there is an appetite for this type of unique and opinion-based travel content and we intend to meet this demand head-on. As such Fly.com will also soon be launching similar blog initiatives in the UK and Germany.”
