Air Southwest is part of the Sutton Harbour group, which has been operating regional services from the Southwest of the UK since 2003. The airline is based in Plymouth City Airport and has a second base at Newquay-Cornwall Airport. Air Southwest flights depart from Plymouth, Newquay and Bristol airports to destinations throughout the UK, the Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland.
Cheap flights from Air Southwest give passengers living in the southwest region quick and easy access to other parts of the United Kingdom, with a list of 15 destinations that includes Air Southwest flights to Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. The airline operates a small fleet of twin-propeller Bombardier Dash 8-311 aircraft.
Passengers should check-in for Air Southwest flights at least one hour before departure. At Plymouth and Newquay passengers with hand luggage only can check-in up to 20 minutes before the flight.
Each passenger can take two pieces of hold luggage with a combined weight of up to 20kg. The total value of each bag’s length, height and width added together must not exceed 158cm. The hand luggage restriction is 7kg and no bag should be larger than 53cm x 34cm x 22cm.

There is no frequent flyer programme for Air Southwest flights, but they do operate a flexible fare programme called Advantage, which allows a greater baggage allowance, executive lounge access and other benefits.
Air Southwest flights have recently been recognised as being the most punctual of all the airlines flying out of London Gatwick Airport. According to the Air Southwest information, the airline operates four flights a day, seven days a week from Plymouth and Newquay to London Gatwick- the figures therefore add to up a significant number of on-time Air Southwest flights.
