Established in 1988, Asiana Airlines, based in Seoul, South Korea, is one of South Korea's two major flagship airline carriers, alongside Korean Air. The airline is headquartered in Asiana Town, Osoe-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, near Gimpo International airport. Asiana Airlines’ major hub is located at Incheon International airport, about 70 kilometres from central Seoul. The airline’s domestic hub is located at Gimpo International Airport.
Asiana Airlines is owned by private investors and employs over 8,000 people. With a fleet of 69 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, Asiana Airlines operates over 500 daily flights throughout Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania. The airline also provides international services to 66 cities in 21 countries on 82 routes, and domestic services to 12 cities on 15 routes.

Check-In
Online check-in is available from 48 hours up to two hours before the flight. Asiana Airlines recommends international travellers check in at least two hours prior to departure. Check-in closes 45 minutes before take-off.
Baggage
Carry-on baggage not exceeding 10kg is permitted with maximum dimensions of 115cm. Economy passengers on European flights are allowed two pieces of luggage each, not weighing more than 20kg, while Business passengers may check in two pieces not exceeding 30kg each.
Seating
Asiana Airlines information outlines their aircraft seat plan. Economy passengers can enjoy a seat pitch of 32- 34 inches and should book in advance to secure aisle or emergency exit seat positions.
