EVA Airways Corporation, also known as EVA Air is based at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport near Taipei. Established in 1989, EVA Air is a major carrier of Taiwan serving destinations across Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. Headquartered in Luzhu, Taoyuan County, EVA Air is privately owned and run by Chairman Lin Bou-Shiu.
EVA Air operates a mixed fleet of Airbus A330, Boeing 747, and Boeing 777 aircraft for domestic, international and cargo services. The airline operates to over 40 international destinations and is the second largest airline in Taiwan. With codeshare agreements with 16 other carriers, AVA Air provides a large flight network to popular holiday destinations including China, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Malaysia, France, Canada and the United States. EVA Air flights from the United Kingdom depart from London Heathrow Airport each week.
Check-In
Check-in opens three hours prior to the scheduled departure time. EVA Air passengers are advised to check in at least one hour before the flight. Online check-in is available from 24 hours up to three hours before take-off.

The seat pitch available on an EVA Air flight is 33 inches in Economy. Business Class travellers can enjoy between 47-61 inches and First Class passengers can stretch out with a seat pitch of 80 inches.
