EgyptAir is the flag carrier airline of Egypt offering scheduled flights to destinations around the world. First established in 1932 as Misr Airwork, EgyptAir is a first choice for business and leisure travel in Africa. Headquartered at the EgyptAir Administrative Complex in Cairo, the airline is run by Chairman and CEO Mr. Hussein Massoud.
From its hub at Cairo International Airport, EqyptAir operates regular flights to over 70 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the United States. EgyptAir flights from London Heathrow Airport provide a direct link for UK passengers. A reliable domestic network and Star Alliance membership has proved EgyptAir is a popular airline with business travellers. The airline’s logo is considered one of the more intriguing designs found on a tail fin. The ancient figure of Horus, a winged god is relevant to EqyptAir through its link to Egyptian mythology and his position in the skies.
