Air Astana is a major airline serving Kazakhstan. Operating since 2001, the airline is headquartered in the Air Astana Centre 1 in the city of Almaty. The airline operates a national flight network to 44 destinations through scheduled and codeshare routes. Air Astana is owned by the Kazakhstani Government and run by company President Peter Foster.

Check-In
Passengers flying with Air Astana are advised to arrive at the airport two hours before the flight. Check-in closes 40 minutes before scheduled departure. All passengers should be ready to board 20 minutes prior to take-off.
Baggage
Baggage restrictions vary between cabin class. Economy Class passengers can check in up to 20kg of luggage and Business Class ticket holders are permitted 30kg. Cabin baggage is limited to one item at 8kg in Economy and two items up to 18kg in Business Class. Excess baggage fees apply.
Seating
Air Astana flights offer a seat pitch between 31-32 inches in Economy Class. Business Class travellers can enjoy a spacious seat pitch from 39-55 inches. For maximum space, seats must be booked in advance.

Air Astana has been pleased to announce an increase in services.
