Established in 1927, Jat Airways is the national airline of Serbia. Run by the Serbian Government, the airline operates low-cost charter, passenger and cargo services throughout the continent and beyond. Headquartered in Belgrade, Jat Airways is a first choice airline for Serbian holidaymakers.
From the airline’s main hub at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Jat Airways serves over 30 destinations in 25 countries across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Seasonal cheap flights to Serbia are available from London Heathrow Airport. Other popular destinations include; Amsterdam, Athens, Dubai, Monastir, Tel Aviv and Zurich.
Jat Airways provides two cabins. Economy features in-flight magazines and recliner seats and Business Class includes leather upholstery and complimentary refreshments. Jat Airways operates a 14 strong fleet of Boeing and ATR aircraft and aim to introduce new carriers in the coming year.
Check-In
Jat Airways advises passengers to arrive at the check-in desk at least one hour before departure for domestic flights and two hours for international travel. The gate closes 25 minutes prior to take-off.
Baggage
Baggage limitations are applicable per class. Economy passengers can check in up to 20kg of hold luggage and Business Class ticket holders are permitted 30kg. All Jat Airways passengers can carry on one item of hand luggage up to 10kg in weight.
Seating
The seat pitch available on a Jat Airways flight is 31.2 inches for Economy passengers and a spacious 36 inches for Business Class travellers.
Frequent Flyer Programme
Jat Airways’ generous frequent flyer programme is known as "A Trip More". Members can earn a free round-trip flight by flying five return or ten one-way international flights in a twelve-month period.

Jat Airways has been an International Air Transport Association (IATA) member since 1961 and an Association of European Airlines (AEA) member since 1971. It is one of the most established airlines operating in Eastern Europe. Jat Airways was the first airline to receive an IATA issued IOSA operational safety certificate.
