Korean Air, founded in 1969, is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Its hub is based at Incheon Airport in Seoul. Online check-in is available from 24 hours up to four hours before the flight. For European flights, Korean Air recommends passengers arrive at least two hours before departure. Check-in closes 40 minutes before take-off.
Passengers are allowed one carry-on bag, weighing up to 12kg, with total dimensions do not exceed 115cm. Economy Class are allowed two pieces of luggage, weighing no more than 23kg each and Business Class can check in two pieces of luggage not exceeding 32kg in weight.
Depending on the aircraft, the latest Korean Air information reveals that flights have a seat pitch of between either 33- 35 inches or 31- 32 inches.

Korean Air's Lounge at Incheon International Airport has been named Priority Pass Lounge of the Year 2010 in the Asia-Pacific region. In a survey of over one million members worldwide, Priority Pass says Korean Air's Incheon lounge was voted No.1 among over 100 qualifying candidates.
