Royal Jordanian Airlines is a major airline of Jordan. Established in 1963, the airline operates scheduled international services and is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization. Headquartered in the Housing Bank Commercial Center in Amman, Royal Jordanian Airlines is part owned by the Jordanian government and run by CEO Hussein Dabbas.
The airline’s main hub is located at Queen Alia International Airport and is the main base for Royal Jordanian Airlines international network. Check-In
All Royal Jordanian Airlines passengers must check in at the airport at least two hours prior to their scheduled departure time and three hours for flights to North America. Boarding gates close 15 minutes before take-off.
Baggage
The baggage allowance for Business Class, also known as Crown Class is 30kg for checked in luggage. Economy Class is permitted up to 20kg. All passengers can carry on one item of hand luggage in Economy and two items for Crown Class ticket holders. Excess baggage fees apply.
Seating
The seat pitch available on a Royal Jordanian Airlines flight is 34 inches in Economy Class. Business Class passengers can stretch out to a spacious seat pitch of 82 inches.

Royal Jordanian Airlines currently provides Crown Class passengers with two exclusive lounges located in Queen Alia International Airport and King Hussein International Airport. Plans to open a third and largest Royal Jordanian Airlines lounge are underway which will handle a total of 340 passengers. Features in the lounge include a business centre, relaxation rooms, praying rooms, complimentary meals, a library and LCD TV screens.
