TAROM - Romanian Air Transport, better known as just TAROM, is the flag carrier airline of Romania. Established in 1920 it is the oldest airline operating in the country. TAROM is owned by the Romanian Government and run by Director General Ruxandra Brutaru.
Headquartered at the International Departures Terminal of Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest, TAROM operates to destinations across the globe. Check-In
Passengers flying with TAROM are advised to arrive at the airport three hours before the flight. Check-in closes 45 minutes prior take-off and passengers must be ready to board 15 minutes before scheduled departure.
Baggage
TAROM flights permit Business Class passengers to check in three items of hold luggage weighing up to 23kg each. Economy passengers can check in one standard piece. All TAROM passengers can carry on one item of hand luggage not exceeding 10kg and a personal item. Excess baggage fees are applicable.
Seating
The available seat pitch onboard a TAROM flight is 32 inches in Economy Class. Business travellers can benefit from a spacious seat pitch of 42 inches.
