TUIfly is the third largest airline in Germany and was founded in January 2007 after former airlines Hapagfly and HLX.com combined. Headquartered near Hannover Airport in Langenhagen Lower Saxony, TUIfly is a low-cost airline.
TUIfly operates flights to 74 destinations including routes to domestic locations such as Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich. All flights are managed by Hapag-Lloyd Flug. Flights are available to Cape Verde, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia in Africa. European countries include France, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
Flights with TUIfly are usually sold as part of a holiday package and are therefore a popular choice with tourists. Cheap flights with TUIfly differ from other low-cost airlines in that all seats are pre-assigned at check-in and in-flight services such as snacks, meals and drinks are included.
