US Airways began operations in 1979 but its history dates back a further 40 years when it formed as All American Aviation in 1939. US Airways flights on the Airbus A330-300 have six seats that are labelled as ‘Envoy Class’, and at 94 inches have the largest seat pitch of any airline in the world. More significantly, Envoy Class seats are able to fully recline all the way down, forming a flat bed.
