A sensory feast in Seville

Choose one of any number of exhilarating things to do in Seville, Spain’s capital of arts, culture and finance. Take a city hop-off sightseeing bus to get a sense of this Andalucian gem, built on the banks of the Guadalquivir river, rich in Arabic and medieval legacy. How to get there?

Seville is also served by a high-speed rail link and getting around is made easy with plentiful buses, trams, cycle hire and a metro.

When to Go?
Seville enjoys a Mediterranean climate with the temperatures in July and August pushing 90˚C and only minimal rainfall in the winter months.  If you are not a sun worshipper, head to Seville in the spring and autumn seasons, which enjoy warmth and moderate rainfall. With so many flight deals from the UK and Europe, you can visit Seville at any time of the year.

Must see
Travel back in time to the Roman Empire at the nearby ruins in Italica or slip into the world of fine and modern art in one of many private galleries. For a spiritual top-up, head to one of Seville’s fifty plus churches, or for a mighty adrenaline rush watch bullfighting at the Plaza de Toros. Rent a small car for the day to explore the narrow streets or ramp up the excitement with a rollercoaster ride at Isla Magica. Cool off with an ice cream at the famous Rayas parlour or catch a flamenco show at Casa de la Memoria.
