Swiss International Airlines (SWISS) is the airline of Switzerland catering to 18 million passengers a year across the globe. SWISS is a part of the Lufthansa group and a member of the Star Alliance. Children under the age of 5 cannot travel unaccompanied on SWISS flight tickets. For children between 5 and 11 years of age, the unaccompanied minor service has to be mandatorily booked. Children of age 12 and above can travel unaccompanied.
Each passenger is permitted to carry a maximum of two animals in an airline-approved container, either in the cabin (less than 8 kg) or in the hold (more than 8 kg). For flights to Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Kenya, South Africa, UAE, and the UK, animals can only be carried as cargo.
SWISS offers Wi-Fi onboard on their Boeing 777-300ER and the Airbus A330-300. The performance of the internet is on par with on-ground connections. This facility is charged and is currently restricted to these aircrafts.
