Located a few miles from Fort Lauderdale Beach, this little oasis is the perfect afternoon escape. Filled with 10 international art galleries, over 60 boutique shops and a cornucopia of dining options there’s truly something for everyone.

Las Olas is easily accessible via water taxi if you don’t have access to a car, or if you’re hotel is too far to walk it.

The Everglades National Park:

These vast tropical wetlands are the ideal spot to see some of Florida’s most notorious and most beloved wildlife. Near Fort Lauderdale the best tour group option is Everglades Holiday Park. The company ranks highly on TripAdvisor for Everglade tours and is the home of Animal Planet’s show Gator Boys.

Adventurers will take a thrilling airboat tour through the Glades, spotting alligators, fish and colorful birds. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and make the tour fun for all ages.

After the hour boat ride, visitors are treated to a complimentary gator-wrestling show, and have the opportunity to touch a live alligator.

South Beach Miami:

What’s a trip to South Florida without visiting this iconic beach? Sprinkled with beautiful Art Deco buildings and Cuban nuances, South Beach is one of the most memorable destinations to see in South Florida.

Undoubtedly known for its party scene this is the place to let your senses run free. The liquor is always flowing, the food is delectable and the people watching is top notch. Ocean Drive is where you can find the most amount of entertainment outside of the beach area. The sidewalks are bursting with outside dinning, and shops.

Families beware — the bikinis are tiny and the beach is approved for topless sunbathing.
