Fly.com’s Senior Marketing Manager, Maria Perez, recently took a trip to Medellin, Colombia. Below are some photos from her trip.
A scenic 90-minute drive from Medellin brings you to the monolith, El Peñol. Named after the town in which it resides, visitors flock to the 200-meter-high granite rock for the breathtaking view from the top of these 600+ steps. Definitely not for the faint of heart!
The view from the top!
To enjoy breathtaking views from within the city of Medellin, take a ride on the Metrocable.
“Bandeja Paisa” is a regional dish from Antioquia, consisting of white rice, red beans, chorizo, blood sausage, avocado, pork rinds, ground beef, plantain, arepa, all topped with a fried egg! You may need to be rolled away from the table.
