Flights between Chicago and San Francisco just dropped to $98 roundtrip, including tax. These nonstop fares on Frontier Airlines save more than $100 on the regular cost.
Other airlines, including United and American, are just $30-$50 more on most dates. Although the price is higher, it may actually provide better value depending on your preference to carry-on or check bags, since Frontier charges for carry-on luggage, while United and American do not.
