I know, I know, summer hasn’t even arrived yet and I’m already talking about fall. Based on the fares we have been seeing, hopefully you already booked that summer beach getaway or plan to take a road trip instead. This week’s top flight deals feature mostly fares available for travel this fall, with the exception of some great flights to New York City over the summer.
Cheap Flights to New York City
The Big Apple really comes alive in the summer, with tons of great activities and outdoor dining options. Some of the must-do summer activities including having a picnic in Central Park (insider tip: it’s usually less crowded uptown). Pick up some sandwiches or even a hot dog from a street vendor, lay down a blanket and enjoy the weather. Nothing is more relaxing than spending the afternoon outdoors. Also, many of the restaurants offer outdoor seating. Call ahead to make reservations, as these tables tend to fill up quickly.
Some of my other favorite outdoor activities including catching a baseball game at Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, riding the Cyclone at the Coney Island amusement park, or taking a train to one of the beaches on Long Island.
Wherever you decide to spend your time in NYC, you will need a flight to get there. Here are some of the best deals we found this week to New York City (all prices are roundtrip including tax):

Last Minute Fares
