Top Flight Deals for June 10: What’s New, New York City?

There’s never a lack of choices when it comes to keeping oneself entertained in New York City, and the options keep growing. On May 29, the One World Trade Center observation deck finally opened to the public, allowing visitors to go up to the observatory floors from the 100th to 102th floors, with a 360-degree view of the city from 1,250 feet up. History buffs can head over to the $20 million Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration that opened its doors on May 20. By using photos and videos of immigrants telling their stories, the center chronicles the immigrants’ journey to the new world and life after arrival. Also new on the scene is the Whitney Museum of American Art’s new location in the Meatpacking District, featuring 220,000 square feet of exhibition space, theater, education center and outdoor galleries with views of the city’s skyline. And for those who are willing to venture outside the borough of Manhattan, you have a new option: High Bridge, the oldest standing bridge in New York City spans the Harlem River, connecting Washington Heights with the Bronx’s Highbridge neighborhoods. After closing in the 1970s due to disrepair, the bridge finally reopened this past Tuesday to pedestrians and bicyclists.

With all these new attractions, and the amazing low fares the deal experts at Fly.com have found to The City So Nice They Named It Twice, there’s no better time to make a return visit. Or if you’ve never been, what’s the hold up?
