Because It’s Better In The Bahamas

Traveling to Nassau/Paradise Island just got a lot more relaxing (we didn’t even think that was possible!). Tuesday marked the opening of a new international arrivals terminal at Lynden Pindling International Airport (pictured above). The new 226,000-square-foot digs boasts five additional jet bridges (for quicker disembarkation), three new baggage claim carousels, as well as 18 Immigration and 10 Customs booths (meaning more time to develop that tan you’re working on). The terminal will allow for an additional 2 million passengers per year to pass through the airport, up from 3 million.

Win a Trip to the Bahamas

In honor of the terminal’s opening, is offering a chance for our Facebook fans to win a four day/three night stay at the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort & Casino. Situated on a 1,000-foot stretch of spectacular white-sand beach, Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort & Casino is located minutes away from the airport as well as Nassau’s major attractions and bustling nightlife. The contest, hosted on and sponsored by The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, includes accommodations and airfare for two guests (based on double occupancy) and is valid for redemption on travel dates of the winner’s choice within one year.
