The number of complimentary checked bags depends on the route and the type of travel class. However, each checked piece must not exceed 23 kg in weight and overall dimensions of 157 cm.

Domestic travel has only the economy tier of seats, and the first checked in bag is free. For international travel -

• Passengers with Business Class Caribbean Airlines booking can check in up to three bags for free
• Passengers traveling via Economy Flexible can check the first two bags for free
• Passengers with Economy Non-flexible and Economy Semi-flexible Caribbean Airlines reservations can check the first bag in for free

Caribbean Miles members in Executive Gold, Gold and Silver tier levels, and Tertiary Students attending certain specified universities may check in a second bag with no additional charges.

Children between the ages of 5-11 can avail the Unaccompanied Minor Service if traveling alone. Caribbean Airlines offers this service on both its direct and connecting flights. For children between the ages of 12 to 15, this service is optional. Unaccompanied children under the age of 16 entering Barbados require an authenticated letter from a parent or guardian

Caribbean Airlines allows dogs and cats to travel in the cabin provided they meet the weight limit of 32 kg (pet + kennel) and maximum linear dimensions of 292 cm with the length of the kennel not exceeding 191 cm. Animals that exceed the weight and size requirements are to be transported as cargo.

Special meals that cater to specific dietary requirements are also available on demand.
