A sensory feast in Seville
Choose one of any number of exhilarating things to do in Seville, Spain’s capital of arts, culture and finance. Bask in the warm sunshine and take a quick peek at your itinerary of monuments, museums, galleries, parks, festivals, great food, dance, nightlife, sport and history as you begin to wish you had booked a longer stay in this amazing Spanish city.
Take a city hop-off sightseeing bus to get a sense of this Andalucian gem, built on the banks of the Guadalquivir river, rich in Arabic and medieval legacy. Perhaps then take to the river itself and view the pavilions and bridges before popping in to visit the Carthusian monastery where Columbus prepared for his voyages of discovery. Later choose to dine in one of the many excellent cafés, restaurants and tapas bars that surround the city’s quaint squares, making sure to sample traditional Spanish dishes and exceptional Spanish wines.
Seville offers a great many wonderful hotels and apartments, many with sumptuous gardens and a classic style all within easy reach of the city’s many attractions. Great cuisine, art, history, culture, festivals and intensive nightlife are just some of the many reasons to make Seville a priority destination.
