Baggage and Other Policies

On an Alliance Air booking, baggage allowance works differently than other commercial flights and depends on the aircraft type. All passengers are allowed to carry onboard a single piece of cabin luggage, weighing no more than 5 kg on the Fokker 50 aircraft and 7 kg on Fokker 70 and 100 models. The dimensions must not exceed 9 x 13.5 x 19 inches.

Alliance flights offer a checked baggage allowance of 20 kg.

The airline also allows unaccompanied minors between the ages of 5-11. Parents must ensure that a special unaccompanied minor form is duly filled, signed and submitted with the airline in advance. The airline does not allow pets to travel on its flights.

Alliance Airlines web check-in is not available for charter passengers unless the company that has chartered the plane provides a complete list of passenger names a day before the flight’s departure. Alliance Air web check-in is also unavailable for unaccompanied minors, for persons traveling with an infant, and people who have special handling requirements. In case an Alliance flight booking is open for web check-in, the website has a portal where passengers can do so.
