Hawaiian Airlines, established in 1929, is the official flag carrier of Hawaii, and is the state’s largest airlines. It is based in Honolulu, and it has two major hubs - Daniel K. Baggage and Other Policies:

Carry-on Luggage:

• One personal item and one carry-on luggage can be carried for free. The carry-on baggage must not exceed 56 x 35 x 23 cm and must fit in the overhead luggage bin or under the seats.
• Umbrellas, jackets, diaper bags, assistive devices (such as walking sticks, strollers and wheelchairs), and duty-free items are ancillary items that can be carried at no extra cost.

Checked Baggage :

• A maximum of 10 bags can be checked in. However, passengers will be charged extra if the number of bags exceeds three.
• Dimensions - Length, width and height should not exceed 157 cm.
• Maximum weight - 23 kilograms.

Children between the ages of 5-14 not accompanied by an adult are entitled to avail the unaccompanied minor service. For inter-island flights, this service is optional for children between the ages of 12-14. One way fee for unaccompanied minors from the age of 5-17 for flights within Hawaii is $35, while that for flights to Continental USA is $100.

Unaccompanied minors in the age group 5-7 are not allowed on connecting flights. Unaccompanied minors in the age group 8-11 are only allowed on connecting flights within Hawaii. Unaccompanied minors are not allowed on international flights, flights to American Samoa, on flights between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am, the last connecting flight of the day, or on codeshare flights.

Pets can travel in the cabin, as checked-in luggage or cargo in specially pressurized and air-conditioned areas. Pets can travel in passenger cabin under the following conditions:

• On inter-flights and flights departing from Hawaii. Pets are not allowed on flights entering the state of Hawaii due to quarantine requirements (Exceptions available for service animals).
• The pet can comfortably stay in a kennel that fits under the seat.
• All the necessary health documents are notarized.

Pets can travel in checked-in luggage under the following conditions:

• Pets must remain in their kennel throughout the flight.
• The combined weight of the pets and their kennel should not be more than 32 kg.
• All the necessary health documents are signed.
