      Galway is served by Galway Airport (GWY) located 6km (approximately 3 miles) east of the city centre. Aer Arann operates domestic flights daily to Dublin, Edinburgh, London Luton and Manchester; the journey takes less than an hour and provides a gateway to international destinations. A seasonal flight to Lorient in France is available during the summer months. Passengers can take the local bus service into the city or book a taxi from the desk inside the airport.
