Nuremberg is served by Nuremberg Airport (NUE) located 5km (approximately 3 miles) from the city centre. Direct flights with Air Berlin arrive from London Stansted. Passengers can reach Nuremberg city centre by shuttle bus, alternatively taxis can be booked from the desk inside the terminal building.

No trip to Nuremberg would be complete without visiting the famous medieval Hauptmarkt. This large market place is one of Nuremberg’s most popular attractions and with numerous stalls selling trinkets, traditional beer steins and rows of gingerbread, it can’t fail to enchant tourists. Stop off at the Nuremberg Ring, now welded into an ornate gate - this ring is said to bring luck to whoever touches it. Spend an afternoon at the Tiergarten Nürnberg zoo and enjoy watching the dolphins, monkeys and polar bears.
