The air temperature averages somewhere between 25 and 30 degrees throughout the summer.

How to get there?
Flights to Valencia from the UK are mainly operated by low cost Irish airline Ryanair, who fly from Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands and Stansted. easyJet has Valencia flights from London Gatwick. If flying with low cost airlines doesn’t appeal or if none of those airports are suitable, then indirect flights to Valencia from airports such as Newcastle are available from flag carriers Air France, KLM and BA via Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport.

Must see
One of the city’s best historical attractions is Valencia Cathedral, a fascinating blend of architectural styles dating back almost 800 years. It is also said to be the resting place of the Holy Grail. From the top of the cathedral’s octagonal mediaeval tower you can enjoy fantastic views of the city. Complementing the beautiful mediaeval buildings is the futuristic City of Arts and Science, with its planetarium, cinema and Europe's largest aquarium. Join in Bunol’s world famous annual tomato fiesta in August, where tens of thousands of Spaniards and tourists throw tomatoes at one another just for the fun of it!
